Philosophy

Little Spanish Bridge’s method is based in the Montessori methodology, presenting children and their families with a lot of opportunities to introduce routines and the Montessori parenting style. Our private sessions take place in a private studio designed, built and planned considering key points of a Montessori environment. Based in our experience, we extracted the elements of different methodologies that help us achieve our goal of immersing a child in a fun, stimulating and structured environment.

Yes! we are a private intellectual studio where kids get exposed to activities that stimulate your kid's sense of sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. This early stimulation can help improve your child's attention span, memory, curiosity, and nervous system development. Furthermore, Little Spanish Bridge is a full immersion foreign language (Spanish) studio where you can find the perfect enrichment program for the entire family!

We are a group of professionals that are Spanish native speakers. We just don’t speak Spanish. We all have a professional career to make sure that the Spanish we are offering is well and properly spoken. We all share our love and passion for our mother tongue and that is what we bring to you, a class full of excitement, passion, activity, challenges and all the good elements that make this process a fun and a successful experience.

Yes! We believe in a multi-age classroom. Because we believe that diversity brings great benefits and successful results. Because real life is not organized by age, gender or cultural background, we present a totally diverse and multiage environment full of opportunities to learn, and obstacles to overcome. We want to offer our children the opportunity to participate and succeed in a diverse environment (different backgrounds, genders, ages). “A multiage classroom is not simply a group of different aged students placed in the same classroom. Instead it is a well-organized and thoroughly thought out program designed to take advantage of the natural diversity created.”

Because our background in product design and education, everything in Little Spanish Bridge has been planned, well thought of, detailed designed, and developed with the only goal of stimulating your child's brain. This is a work in progress method, we are always proposing new activities to keep it fresh and to always have room for improvement. We love brainstorming and sketching new ways to get better results! We love ideas and feedback.

We have developed our own method of introducing Spanish as a second language in a natural, fun, and effective way in a multi-age set up. This method has been developed based on our experiences growing up in a multi-cultural environment where bi-lingualism was encouraged as a tool to becoming a well-rounded individual and we apply those same concepts to our children as they grow up as well. Through life practical activities, we cooperate with kids and families in the everyday challenges that these ages bring. We encourage independence, self-control, responsibility and perseverance. And it is ALL in Spanish.

When your kids become part of our program they become part of our diverse multicultural family. They love coming to class to exercise, play, create, pretend, share, learn and grow in Spanish, their second language. We make them feel comfortable! They really feel at home where they can speak, cooperate and share with their second family. Our goal is to give our kids a global conscience. We want to create conscious citizens to prepare them to be an active part of our multicultural and diverse community! We reinforce ethical values, manners and honesty. We promote respect, equality and fairness. It is important that we learn this early that we need to treat others as we want to be treated.

We are not a school! We are an excellent and challenging extracurricular activity. We are here to partner with you to introduce creative activities: stimulating through music, art, dance, language, exercise, fun and play! We have classes for baby, toddler, preschooler, school-age and even adults.
